BELGRADEYARD SOUNDSYSTEM (YU)
RECHENZENTRUM (DE)
POLE (DE)
METEO (DE)
JAN JELINEK (DE)
MESO (DE)

At club transmediale.03 Jan Jelinek aka Farben aka Gramm celebrates the record release of his new album on Scape. He extends his warm archaeological sound-particle-loops with some hidden rock references, played by a virtual band. Playing with similar kinds of quotes and references to the music- and artworld, Rechenzentrum will present scores from their new CD/DV which is going to be released on Mille Plateaux in May and which for the most part is poaching in the depths of low frequency dub. „Dub“ also is the catchword for Pole, who in the mean time has said goodbye to his ultra minimal echo chambers and replaced them with ‘real’ instruments. Label owner (Meteo) and a musician (Bus, A/B) Meteo will set the musical frame for this night and will lead us through a full range of stylistically related dub and reggae tunes. Belgradeyard Soundsystem – musicians, organisers and radio producers – form the creative cell for electronic music in their hometown Belgrade, Serbia´s metropolis. With their fine mixture of dub and electronica they made it into the international first league. Art&design laboratory meso (see -> Presentation -> VVVV, www.meso.net) will provide the visuals this evening, quod-erad-
demonstrandum-style using their very own vvvv visualisation solutions product (with a dash of jitter mixed in).
