Continuous Mode is Andy Mellwig from Berlin. In the early 1990s he was 'Head Mastering Engineer' at the legendary Dubplates & Mastering and contributed to the ground breaking sound of the Basic Channel and Maurizio records.Together with Thomas Köner he was highly productive in the second half of the 1990s under the name Porter Ricks. Continuous Mode is his solo project. He has released on Imbalance, Chain Reaction, Klang Elektronik and on Bill Laswell's Sub-Meta label.
