Marc Leclair from Montréal, Canada has been producing and releasing under the names Akufen and Anna Kaufen since 1999. He has released on labels which include Hautec, Perlon, Traum, Background, Trapez and Force Inc.'Micro sampling' describes his style; a combination of various short or long wave signals, dialling tones, song samples or voices, which he feeds through the sampler and turns into danceable house tracks.
