K-project is defined as a video-jockey collective whose core is constituted by Frédéric Beaulieu and Valérie Leduc. The visual landscapes they create are elaborated from concepts which vary according to the event, basing themselves on a guideline of the world to be discovered through a digital vision. This Montreal-based collective, founded in 2000 and already very active on both local and international scene, uses video, new technology and new media to form an hybrid between digital and analog technology. Passionate about high-tech culture, music and the Visual Arts, founder member Frederic is constantly researching and developing new concepts to merge image and technology. His boundless imagination and his great talent for digital imaging are his strong points. On the other hand, Valerie's artistic creations express time and again a critical, sensible and more often an intuitive gaze on what animates the world. Trained as a graphic designer, Valerie has crafted her skills in filming moving images and creating original graphic elements. She has succeeded in mastering the art of translating her senses into scintillating and touching imagery.
