Sabina Sabolovic Worked as a journalist from 1995 until 2000.
During 2001 and 2002 she has been directing the Extended Media Gallery in
Zagreb. She is one of the founding members of the NGO for visual culture ¡°What,
How and for Whom/WHW¡±, established in 1999, within which she
organized and curated several international art projects, including exhibitions,
series of lectures, publications, books, radio and TV broadcasts. Since June
2003 WHW is running city-owned Gallery Nova in Zagreb, Croatia. Among the
projects she co-curated within WHW are: What, How & for Whom, on the
occasion of the 152nd anniversary of the Communist Manifesto, Croatian Association
of Artists, Zagreb, 2000 & Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Vienna, 2001; Project
Broadcasting, dedicated to Nikola Tesla, The Technical Museum, Zagreb, 2000;
START, Mestna Galerija Ljubljana, 2002 & Galerija Karas, Zagreb, 2003,
Looking Awry, apexart gallery, New York 2003 ; Side-effects, Museum of Contemporary
Art Belgrade 2004.
