Benny Nemerofsky Ramsay (born 1973) is a visual artist based in Toronto and Berlin. His video works have been screened across North America, Europe and East Asia, winning numerous awards. In 2003, he won the Festival Prize at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, the Werkleitz Projektstipendium at the Kasseler Dokumentarfilm- und Videofest, and the First Prize in the Experimental Competition at the Hamburg Short Film Festival. He was invited to present his latest video installation Lyric, as well as a survey of his work, at the recent Stuttgarter Filmwinter 2004.
