Mo Loschelder, who was a student of Gerhard Richter,
works as a DJ since 1991. The Berlin based musician founded the Label Elektro
Music Department in 1995 and over the years has been a resident DJ in many
of Berlin's clubs and DJ on the dancefloors all over the world. She participated at "clubberlin",
Biennale Venice 1995; "NowHere", Museum Humlebæk, Denmark
1996; "satellit", loop - raum für aktuelle kunst, Berlin 2000;
Sound AKA Space", curated by Nina Möntmann, Hamburg 2000 and played
on the opening of "Festival Of Visions" Hongkong 2000. Besides
she gave workshops such as "What is Techno?" in Vienna or for the
new SoundXchange class of the UdK, Berlin.
