Pinky Rose (born 1960) works as a freelance journalist and music critic for Sueddeutsche Zeitung and Nordwestradio (Radio Bremen) and occasionally for die tageszeitung. She was involved in the Suhrkamp anthology "Sound Signatures" which focuses on the phenomenology of pop (2001) and edited techno´s history of origin for different online portals. In the 90s she brought the spirit of Noise and electronic music into the feature pages of "Die Zeit".
