OCTEX (Organic Crackle & Tone Experiments) is Jernej Marusic, 24 years old and a resident of Ljubljana. He has been involved in musical experimentation since the second half of the 1990s. At the moment he is concentrating on the OCTEX project, which fuses musical influences which include techno from Detroit and Berlin, dub and ambient, with the sound of Ljubljana. He has released tracks from this project on the Slovenian Tehnika label.
