EU is duo started by Alexander Zatsev and Ilya Baramiya in1997. EU are outstanding representatives of the new wave of Russian electronic experimentalism. EU is strongly influence by the work of Autechre and in their music pays the homage with their fractured textures and fragile melodies - melodic intensity housed within rusting, industrial scaffolding.
The british Pause_2-label recently has released EU's first 7" ‘Wienn/Srez’ - scored in NME as "Single of The Week." EU as well has worked with Jon Tye (LO Rec, UK) for the compilation RU.ELECTRONIC and published on Russian Cheburec Rec.
