As organizer of the festival for experimental music 'Svobodnij polet' (free flight), as radio DJ , as promoter of young electronic musicians and as owner of the 'Free Flight'-label, Oleg Jurchenko alias DJ Swop is one of the central artist- and producer personalities of the electronic music scene in Petersburg. Dj Swop is also playing in the post-rock band 'Zelany Rashoho'. Jurchenko runs a store named 'Drugaja Kultura' ('the other culture') providing a hot spot for Petersburg's subcultures and organizes monthly electronica concerts in the 'Moloko' club. He also produces a video-edition that features the work of experimental filmmakers from Petersburg.
