With the aim to encourage and promote young artists, HGB Fideljus created the Destruct Agentur in 1992. Teaming up with graphic-designer Lopetz in 1994, the "art agency" changed into the graphic design bureau destruct or "Büro Destruct", as it is known today. Not before long, some of their friends and co-students at the school of art and design joined them: MBrunner, H1Reber, Pedä Siegrist and Heiwid. While HGB Fideljus left the bureau, to plunge deeper into art, the rest of the team concentrated on graphic design, earning much respect – primarily for the design of event graphics and the fonts they busily created. The design work of BD consists to a larger part of print matter for cultural events or projects, with a range from posters to flyers, brochures, books and CD's. A speciality of the Büro Destruct is creating fonts. Today Büro Destruct also works in the field of motion graphic an d creates its own events under the name of Büro Discotec.Even though the Büro Destruct often seems weird and precise enough to be Japanese, they're still located in Berne, the small and unsuspecting capital of Switzerland.

At club transmediale´s great opening event büro destruct will team up with CUE (CH) to create a visual metropolitan environment - including material from their Loslogos project.

Taking famous NGOs like Greenpeace or Amnesty International as a model, Büro Destruct engage in the protection of endangered signs and characters. With the Loslogos project they made it their buissines to collect and save the worlwide variety of unique and often enough bizarre logos and characters, which they believe soon to die out as a result of the ongoing redesign of the worlds metropoles and other changes caused by globalization processes. With the help of this hompage everybody can participate in the process and deliver his discoveries as digital fotographs and upload them together with some crucial information (place, country, time etc.) into the virtual city Loslogos.
